We need to retire from alpacas as soon as possible due to health challenges, so all our animals are for sale.  Our farm is also for sale so we need to get these alpacas to their new homes as soon as possible.

We have been breeding alpacas with care since 1994. Our selection of superior studs has produced award winning offspring, which we proudly present for sale.  Alpacas available are subject to change without notice.

GOING, GOING, ALMOST GONE.  We have only 6 alpacas of high quality breeding stock  remaining - two adult males and four pregnant females, three with babies due before the end of September, and the other girl due next June. For a total of 6, soon-to-be 9 animals with the 10th coming next summer, we are asking $21,000, a discount over the individual pricing.  This is a STEAL for the quality of these alpacas.  Several are close relatives to our renowned Premier's Absolute, a fabulous rose grey stud acclaimed nationwide for his outstanding offspring.

BONUS:  We have earned through trades, breedings from the following northwest farms:  Stirling Ridge Alpacas, Grazing Hills Alpacas, Alpacas from MaRS, and Wicklow Glen Alpacas.  All have high quality studs to choose from.  Purchasers of any of our females will get to select a free drive-by breeding for use with any of their healthy females.  FIRST COME, FIRST CHOICE.

This is a great time to purchase a nice quality starter herd.

You can count on us for continued support even after our retirement.  We have routinely developed a lasting relationship with those who purchase a Premier alpaca, and are happy to refer you to previous customers.  We have 16 years of experience to share.  Contact us for additional information on any of the alpacas featured below. We can send fiber samples, copies of histograms, a list of all awards, and additional still photos. More photos may be seen on our pages on AlpacaNation and Alpaca Infinity.

Females

Bred Proven Females:

Diamond Star Nimue

NimueD.O.B. 6-12-05,    Reg. #30040356    Color: True black with a grey patch

Nimue is a very feminine true black alpaca. She is mild mannered, a trait that came from both her parents. She has a patch of grey on one leg, which shows the strong silver lineage on her pedigree.

Nimue's dam is Peppermint Patty, an elegant female we bought because she threw a fabulous silver out of our rose grey Rubio. Nimue's sire is Grey Ledgend S587 AOA, who is a magnificent stud. You can see a photo and learn about him by going to: http://www.alpaca1.com/shop/product.asp?id=S587

Nimue had a beautiful black female cria from the renowned Emerald Farm's Rincon in June 2008.  We registered her as Premier's Kismet, which means destiny, because she is pretty.  She is a nice package of type, correct upright conformation and butter soft fiber, with crimp from chin to toes.  Kismet is being sold separately, pregnant to rose grey Premier's Rubio.

Nimue had her cria from Premier's Icon in July 2009.  Icon is the son of Premier's Jolie (full sister to Premier's Absolute) and Premier's Maximillian (son of 4P Legacy) so his pedigree is exceptional.  Icon has very straight conformation and fine fiber with tight crimp and shine.  The babe is a spunky dark brown FEMALE with black points, registered as Premier's Maura who has been sold.

We have bred Nimue back to Premier's Rubio, rose grey with fabulous fiber.  The cria is due August 25.

Premier's Midnight Ember

Midnight EmberD.O.B. 7-25-06   Reg. #30708433    Color: Medium brown with black points.

Premier's Midnight Ember is a cutie out of Snowmass Midnight Magic, a black well known for his fine offspring. Ember's fiber has a beautiful rich red tone to it, hence her name. She has black points. Her dam is Premier's Jolie, mother of Premier's Rubio and full sister to Premier's Absolute. Ember has noteworthy bloodlines behind her.

Ember has excellent proportions, a nice head and extremely soft fiber. Her crimp is lovely and extends to her neck and apron.  She took second behind Premier's Panache (who went on to take Reserve Champion in that show) with high compliments for the close placing. Ember is extremely easy to handle.

With one drive-by breeding, Ember conceived as a maiden to Spanish Peaks Banderas, a multi-champ dark rose grey that has extremely dense fleece with high character.  The resulting cria was sitting beside her one morning and gained more than half a pound a day.  He is medium fawn with beautiful crimpy, shiny fiber, even on his neck.

We have bred Ember back to Premier's Maximillian, a 4P Legacy son who throws great conformation and bright fiber.  The cria is due early September.

Premier's Panache

PanacheD.O.B. 10-10-06  Reg. #30708440   Color: Medium brown with white apron, belly and markings on face.

Panache means stylish, and is she ever! She has a darling head, nicely proportioned and conformed body and shiny, crimpy fiber. Her mom is Premier's Cognette, champion light brown full sister to Premier's Absolute. Cognette was one of the nicest animals produced from our winning combination of Prestige and Comet, and was snapped up by a discriminating breeder when we offered her for sale. Panache's sire is the handsome, fine fleeced, typey Snowmass Sterling Silver, who is also a champion. Panache followed in her parents' footsteps by taking Reserve Champion Brown Female at the 2007 Northwest Alpaca Showcase, and took a 1st at the NW Alpaca Showcase in 2008. She is cute and has a very sweet personality.  Color geneticists say that white faced alpacas with silver lineage carry silver genetics, and have a strong possibility of throwing rose grey if bred to a solid black.

Panache was bred to Cimarron Gold Legend for her 2009 cria.  He was owned until recently by Janus Alpacas and since only a few breedings had been retained before he headed to his new home in Canada, we snatched one.  He is throwing awesome offspring.  One baby we looked at had elite fiber from between her ears to below her knees.  Too bad for Janus that baby was not a male!  We have the greatest respect for Bob Shailer and Phil Lasswell of Janus Alpacas, who consistently breed high quality alpacas and are pleased to work closely with them..  The cria arrived October 15 - a female with outstanding white fiber that has been sold.

Panache is now pregnant to Beretta, a black Janus Alpaca stud, due June 2011.  We will agist her at no cost until she is 60 days pregnant.

Pregnant Unproven Females

Premier's Kismet

KismetD.O.B. 6-6-08  Reg. #31339957 Color: True black

We registered this lovely female as Premier's Kismet because Kismet means destiny. We think she has a great future ahead of her.

Kismet is a beautiful combination of phenotype and top notch lineage. Although she is true black, she has strong grey bloodlines behind her. Her sire is light silver multi champion Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud, who is extremely typey and has taken top awards in fiber and halter competitions, including Get of Sire, time after time. Be sure to look at his information to the left.

Her mom is Diamond Star Nimue. Nimue is out of two grey parents and is true black with a grey patch on one leg. She is an easy going alpaca who gave birth to Kismet while I stood and watched. We bred Nimue shortly after we purchased her, so she has never been shown.

Kismet has amazingly uniform fiber. She has crimp EVERYWHERE including her apron and it is dense and shiny. She has beautiful proportions, straight legs and a show stopping head.

Kismet is being sold bred to Premier's Rubio.  With her color genetics and his outstanding rose grey fiber, the cria should be outstanding. That cria is due mid-September.

Premier's Kismet $3800 bred to Premier's Rubio.

Premier's Nevado

NevadoD.O.B. 9-6-05   Reg. # 1242188,    Color: white

10 ribbons from 2 fleece shows has got to be some kind of record!!! Nevado's fiber is simply stunning in quality and quantity. Check out the fiber stats on his second clip! Simply amazing!!!!

Micron Count
2006: MC 18.4; SD 4.0; CV 22.0; 16.9% less than 15 microns; CF 99.3; curve 36.4
2007: MC 19.9; SD 3.5; CV 17.8; CF 99.1; curve 48.3

Shearing Weight
2006: 6# from his 60#, 8 month old frame!
6.8# at 11.5 months from previous shearing; staple length 5" on blanket, 4" on neck

We named this fellow Nevado, meaning snowy white pinnacle, because his fleece was special from day one - dense, long staple, bright, soft, fine and had lock structure. THREE fleece show judges have agreed with us, giving his fiber top honors. See the list of awards below.

Nevado also has fabulous genetics on both sides of his pedigree. His dam is Premier's Cognette, light brown champion who is a full sister to Premier's Absolute. His sire is Locota's Constantino who was bred by Kissin' Coussens Alpacas from 4Peruvian Lanark's Locota and Trufflina, a Peruvian Andrajo daughter. Peruvian Don Julio is Nevado's paternal great grandsire, and Snowmass Don Julio's Prestige is his grandmother.

At his first halter show as a juvenile, the judge kept coming back to Nevado, but it was clear that his testicles were out matched by other males in the ring. Now he has caught up and more, and is good to go at 20 months of age!! We are pleased that Dr. Tibary, renowned camelid reproduction expert at Washington State University, passed Nevado on his breeding soundness exam June 2007. He had his first opportunity to breed in September of 2007, and settled that girl in one session.  The resulting medium fawn female offspring is spectacular, with dense, bright, popcorn fiber and beautiful structure.

2007
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: 1st place
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: Judge's Choice
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: Best Brightness
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: highest scoring entry - 86 points

Alpacapalooza halter: 3rd (he doesn't care to be in the show ring and was very badly behaved)

NW Alpaca Showcase: 1st place; entry scored 85.5 points
NW Alpaca Showcase: Judge's Choice
NW Alpaca Showcase: Best Handle
NW Alpaca Showcase: Color Champion

2008
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: 1st place
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: Best Handle
Alpacapalooza Fleece Show: Reserve Color Champion
88.5 total points with 20/20 for fineness and handle. Judge Cheryl Gehly commented that the fleece was a gorgeous combination of characteristics.

Nevado's FIRST CRIAS have arrived and are stunning! He threw medium fawn out of a light brown dam and that has MEGA CRIMP! The owner of this cria has re-bred her to Nevado and got a light brown.  Other offspring have been white out of white or beige out of brown.

Nevado's bite suffered from lack of attention in 2008 when Leslee was out of commission with her knee replacement recuperation.  He retained some baby teeth, which threw his bite off.  Those have now been removed and his bite has improved a lot.  Both is parents have perfect bites, so we don't think this is genetic.

Premier's Maxmillian

MaxmillianD.O.B. 7-29-00   Reg. # 823126,    Color: Medium brown with vicuna white underbelly

Maximillian is a son of famous Accoyo 4Peruvian Legacy. He is half Peruvian. At the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival 2001, Mike Safley placed Max’s fleece 1st and conformation 1st in a composite class where Safley described Max’s proportions and bite as perfect. Max has also placed 2nd at the AlpacaFest and Alpaca Affaire composite halter shows, 3rd at the full fleece CABA show judged by Julio Sumar and 3rd at NW Alpaca Showcase judged by Amanda VandenBosch. Max's last show, Alpacapalooza 2003, garnered him another blue ribbon under Amanda VandenBosch's scrutiny with compliments on his excellent structure and silky fiber.

Maximillian has a beautiful medium amplitude crimp, medium red- brown fleece that is lustrous and has a soft, silky hand, even as he approaches his 10th birthday this year. His fiber took 2nd in a large fleece class at Alpacapalooza 2002, and 2nd in a class of seven at the NW Alpaca Showcase where it received near perfect scores in the categories of handle, uniformity of length and brightness. In 2003, Max earned 3rd in halter under judge Julio Sumar at the Alpaca Western Extravaganza, 3rd in halter at the NW Alpaca Showcase judged by Amanda VandenBosch, 2nd in cut fleece at Alpaca Western Extravaganza judged by Cameron Holt, and 2nd in fleece at NW Alpaca Showcase judged by Julie Skinner. At the 2003 AROW show Max took 1st in conformation and second overall in their composite halter show judged by Mike Safley. His 2004 awards include second place in the fleece show at Alpacapalooza with 14/15 points for fineness, 5/5 for handle, 7/8 for uniformity of micron, 6/7 for staple length, 9/0 for lack of medullation, and 8/10 for brightness. His 2004 entry in the NW Alpaca Showcase took second place as did his Alpacapalooza Spin-Off entry where it earned 82/85 points.

Max's medium boned structure is flawless, and he is passing those traits along to his offspring. He has regal stature that commands attention in the pasture.

Max has a strong libido. His cria are very nice. We bred him to Premier's Jolie, our blue ribbon Comet daughter and got a male that exemplifies our breeding program, so named him Premier's Icon. He has Max's conformation and silky handle fiber plus high frequency crimp from his dam. Click on the following link to see photos of Max's offspring: Max's offspring.
